  • 1 large onion
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
  • 2 (No. 1) cans tomato puree
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 doz. crabs
  • salt and hot red pepper to taste

    Chop onion and bell peppers.

    Fry in oil until brown.

    Add tomato puree and sauce.

    Cook on slow fire for 1 hour.

    Add crabs and cook another 1 1/2 hours.
