  • 1 (4 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 c. fresh or canned crabmeat
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell, partially baked
  • 1 c. half and half cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

    Saute mushrooms and onion in margarine; drain.

    Mix with crabmeat and place in bottom of partially baked pie shell. Combine cream, eggs, mayonnaise, pepper and nutmeg in bowl; beat until smooth.

    Stir in cheese.

    Pour this mixture into pie shell. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes.
