  • 1 lb. backfin crabmeat, flaked
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • milk (just enough to hold everything together)
  • dash of Tabasco sauce (if desired)
  • bread crumbs

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except bread crumbs. Shape into round cakes about 1-inch thick. Coat with bread crumbs and deep fry (or broil) to golden brown.
