- 6 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 box saltines (all 4 pkg.)
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 carton Cool Whip
- 1 small pkg. coconut
Directions

1Beat egg whites good; mix cream of tartar, then add sugar. Add vanilla.

2Crumble the packages of saltines in and mix well with chopped nuts.

3Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° until light brown, about 1/2 hour.

4When it cools, spread Cool Whip over top and sprinkle with coconut.

5Keep refrigerated.
