- 7 c. popped corn
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- peanuts (optional)
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/8 c. corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Put popped corn in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Mix brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in a saucepan.

3Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly around the edge.

4Cook 5 minutes more. Remove from heat; stir in soda until foamy.

5Pour over popcorn and stir until well coated.

6Bake 1 hour in 200° oven, stirring every 15 minutes.
