- 6 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 sticks oleo
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. burnt sugar flavoring
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Mix brown sugar, oleo, salt and sugar flavoring in heavy saucepan; boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in soda.

2Pour over popped corn, mixing thoroughly.

3Pour onto two cookie sheets with sides. Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour, stirring often with wooden spoon. Take from oven and separate while still warm.

4Let cool. Keep in closed container; stays crisp.

5Roasted nuts can be added to popped corn.
