- 2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 c. light or dark syrup
- 1 stick oleomargarine
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 5 qt. freshly popped corn
- 1 c. peanuts
Directions

1Boil brown sugar, syrup, oleo and cream of tartar together for 5 minutes and quickly stir in baking soda.

2Mix peanuts and popcorn.

3Pour syrup mixture over them.

4Mix thoroughly and spread on 2 cookie sheets.

5Put in 200° oven for 40 minutes.

6Stir every 10 minutes.

7Cool and eat.
