- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. quick oats
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. finely grated lemon peel
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. margarine, melted
- 16 oz. can whole cranberry sauce
- 1/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In a large bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, lemon peel and baking soda.

3Stir in melted margarine and mix thoroughly.

4Reserve 1 cup for topping.

5Pat the rest into an ungreased 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking pan.

6Bake 20 minutes. Carefully spread cranberry sauce atop crust.

7Stir nuts into reserved oat mixture and sprinkle on top.

8Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until top is golden.

9Cool in pan on wire rack.

10Will freeze for up to 12 months.

11Makes 24 bars.
