- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
- 1 lb. whole cranberry sauce or cranorange
- 1 tsp. shredded lemon peel
- 1/4 c. finely chopped nuts for topping
Directions

1Mix flour, oats, sugar, lemon peel and soda.

2Reserve one cup of mixture for topping.

3Add butter and mix thoroughly.

4Place in ungreased pan in oven preheated to 350°.

5Bake 20 minutes.

6Remove from oven and carefully spread sauce on baked crust.

7Stir nuts into reserved oat-flour mix and pat lightly into sauce.

8Bake 25 to 30 minutes more, until top is golden.

9Cool on wire rack.

10Makes 24.
