- 3 c. boiling water
- salt
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. cold water
Directions

1Mix cornmeal and other dry ingredients with 1 cup cold water and stir into the 3 cups of boiling water.

2Turn heat to low and cook about 1 hour.

3Pour into loaf pan.

4Cover with Saran Wrap; cool overnight in refrigerator.

5Slice and fry.

6Serve with favorite syrup.
