- 1 c. fresh cranberries
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3 Tbsp. grated orange rind
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Grind cranberries coarsely.

2Add this to 1/4 cup sugar; set aside.

3Sift together 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk, melted butter, eggs, orange rind and nuts.

4Fold in cranberry mixture.

5Pour into greased loaf pan.

6Cook at 350° for 1 hour.
