  • 4 c. (1 lb.) fresh cranberries
  • 1 c. sugar or more if desired
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 medium apple, pared and chopped
  • 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
  • 1 c. seedless raisins
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped

Directions

    Combine cranberries, raisins, sugar, spices and water in a large saucepan.

    Simmer 15 minutes or until berries pop and mixture thickens.

    Stir in onion, apple and celery; simmer 15 minutes longer or until mixture is thick.
