Cranberry Pie

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 (12 oz.) bag cranberries, chopped pea size
  • 1/2 c. golden raisins
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 c. fresh orange juice
  • 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter

Directions

    Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar on bottom of uncooked pie crust.

    Add pie mixture.

    Cover with second crust.

    Brush pie with mixture of 1 egg, mixed with 2 tablespoons water.

    Bake 50 minutes at 400°. Cool and serve.

    Can be topped with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
