  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1 tsp. grated orange rind
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 c. cranberries, cut in halves or coarsely chopped
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. Karo dark corn syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Mazola margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. pecans

Directions

    Combine ingredients, adding nuts last.

    Pour into pastry shell.

    Bake in 400° (hot) oven 15 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° (moderate) and continue to bake 30 to 35 minutes.

    (Filling should be slightly less set in the center than around edges.)
