Ingredients
- 1 pound crawfish meat
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup onions diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon salt or season to taste
- 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon coarse black pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 tablespoon chile powder
- 2 tablespoons blonde roux (for thickening)
- 8 oz heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Melt butter in the skillet over a medium high heat

2Add onions and garlic and saute until onions are translucent.

3Add cayenne pepper, black pepper, paprika, salt, and chili powder and stir.

4Add crawfish tails and saute for about 8 minutes or until cooked.

5Add heavy cream and stir

6When the cream begins to boil, lower the heat and add the blonde roux.

7Simmer for another 10 minutes

8Turn off the stove and stir in the cheese until it is melted into the sauce

9Serve over pasta with bread
