  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring to a boil the first 3 ingredients and pour over flour and sugar.

    Mix.

    Then add buttermilk, soda, eggs, salt and vanilla.

    Mix and pour into well-greased and floured pan.

    Cook at 350° for 30 minutes.
