  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 c. water
  • 5 Tbsp. melted shortening or oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Mix in same pan cooking in (9 x 12-inch rectangle).

    Put all dry ingredients in pan.

    Add all wet ingredients.

    Stir well.

    Bake until springs back in middle to touch, about 20 to 25 minutes.
