- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 beaten eggs
- 4 c. plain flour
Directions

1Heat sour cream over low heat.

2Stir in sugar, salt and butter.

3Cool to lukewarm.

4Sprinkle yeast over warm water in large mixing bowl, stirring until yeast dissolves.

5Add sour cream mixture, eggs and flour.

6Mix well; cover tightly.

7Refrigerate overnight.

8Divide dough into 4 equal parts.

9Roll each onto well floured board into 12 x 8-inch rectangles.

10Spread 1/4 cream cheese mixture onto each rectangle.

11Roll up in jelly roll fashion, starting with long side.

12Pinch edges together, folding ends under slightly.

13Place roll seam side down on lightly greased baking sheet.

14Slit each roll at 2-inch intervals 2/3 way through dough to resemble braid.

15Cover; let rise for 1 hour until double in size.

16Bake at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes.

17Spread with glaze while bread is still hot.
