- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 c. sifted flour
- jam
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients.

2Divide dough in half and chill. Roll out 1/2 at a time, about 1/4-inch thick.

3Cut with small round cutter.

4Place 1/2 teaspoon jam on each cookie.

5Bake on ungreased sheet in moderate oven, 350°, for 20 minutes.

6Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
