  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • unbaked 8 to 9-inch pie shell

    Beat cream cheese, egg yolks, heavy cream, egg, pepper and salt until smooth and blended. Cut bacon in 1-inch pieces and cook until lightly browned and crisp. Arrange the bacon in the pie shell. Pour cheese mix over bacon and bake in preheated 400° oven for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 10 minutes longer or until puffed and golden brown. Let stand a few minutes and serve hot. Serves 4 to 6.
