  • 18 14 ounces chocolate cake mix
  • 1 13 cups water
  • 12 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 13 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips

    Heat oven to 350 for shiny metal or glass pan or 325 for dark or nonstick pan.

    Beat cake mix, water, oil, and 3 eggs in large bowl on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.

    Set aside.

    In a separate bowl, cream together cream cheese and sugar.

    Add egg and salt and mix well.

    Fold in chocolate chips.

    Fill paper-lined muffin tins 1/2 full with batter.
