- 18 14 ounces chocolate cake mix
- 1 13 cups water
- 12 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 13 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 18 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
Directions

1Heat oven to 350 for shiny metal or glass pan or 325 for dark or nonstick pan.

2Beat cake mix, water, oil, and 3 eggs in large bowl on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.

3Set aside.

4In a separate bowl, cream together cream cheese and sugar.

5Add egg and salt and mix well.

6Fold in chocolate chips.

7Fill paper-lined muffin tins 1/2 full with batter.

8Drop 1 rounded teaspoon cream filling on each cupcake.

9Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
