- 6 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white syrup
- 1 Tbsp. real butter
- 1 lb. chopped English walnuts
- 3 c. light cream
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Boil sugar, syrup and cream until it forms a soft ball when tested in cold water.

2Remove from heat, add butter and beat until it thickens.

3Add nuts and vanilla.

4When nearly ready to set, pour into buttered loaf pan to cool.

5Slice and cut into squares.
