- 6 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 pt. heavy cream
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, beat eggs at high speed for 5 minutes or until pale yellow.

2Gradually beat in sugar and vanilla, mixing until sugar is dissolved.

3Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to batter alternately with cream.

4Pour into a greased 10-inch tube pan.

5Bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes or until cake tests done.

6Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
