- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs, unbeaten
Directions

1Melt butter in water in saucepan and bring to a boil and then lower heat.

2Add salt and flour, all at once, stirring rapidly. Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture leaves side of pan and gathers around spoon.

3Remove from heat.

4Add 1 egg at a time, beating thoroughly after each.

5Continue beating until smooth and glossy and break off when spoon is raised.
