  • 14 cup butter
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 13 cup all-purpose flour
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped cream, divided
  • chocolate syrup, and (optional) or fresh raspberry (optional)

    Crust: In a large saucepan, bring water, butter and salt to a boil.

    Add flour all at once and stir until a smooth ball forms.

    Remove from heat; let stand for 5 minutes.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Continue beating until mixture is smooth and shiny.

    Spread in the bottom and halfway up the sides of a well-greased 9-inch pie plate.

    Bake at 400 F for 35-40 minutes.

    Filling: Combine sugar, flour and salt.
