Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs

Directions

    Bring water and shortening to a boil; add dry ingredients. Stir until mixture leaves sides of pan.

    Cool slightly.

    Add beaten eggs, one at a time.

    Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 40 to 45 minutes.

    Cool and fill with custard filling.
