- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. whipping cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. white sugar
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
Directions

1Mix butter, cream and flour thoroughly. Chill 1 hour. Roll dough 1/8-inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut into 1 1/2-inch rounds. Transfer to waxed paper heavily sprinkled with sugar. Coat both sides.

2Place on ungreased baking sheet.

3Prick with fork in 4 places.

4Bake 7 to 9 minutes at 375° until slightly puffed. Using filling, put 2 together.
