  • 1 medium size cabbage
  • 1/2 lb. cheese
  • 3 strips bacon
  • dash of pepper
  • dash of paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • salt to taste
  • water

Directions

    Boil in salted water and drain. Line baking dish with bacon strips. Add a layer of cabbage, then a layer of grated cheese.

    In a saucepan, melt butter. Add the flour, then milk, stirring constantly until it boils slightly and thickens.

    Pour mixture on top of cabbage/cheese layers.

    Sprinkle with black pepper and paprika. Bake in 350° oven until slightly browned.
