- 1 c. cream
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Put sugar, syrup, vanilla and 1/2 of cream in pan.

2Stir constantly until it boils.

3Add the rest of the cream slowly; don't let boiling cease.

4Cook until soft ball forms in cold water.

5Mix together (have this ready) the flour, cornstarch and butter.

6Add flour mixture to syrup mixture; stir and continue to cook until a soft ball.

7Put into buttered pan; cut when cooled.
