Ingredients

  • 2 cakes yeast or 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 egg
  • 7 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 10 Tbsp. melted margarine

Directions

    Crumble yeast cake in bowl; add salt, sugar and water, also well beaten egg.

    Add 1/2 cup flour and beat well.

    Add melted margarine, then stir in rest of flour.

    Roll and put in pan.

    Let rise only once.

    Put in refrigerator in airtight container.

    Will need to roll this out at least 2 hours before baking.

    Bake at 400° to 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.
