  • 2 lb. small white onions or 1 (20 oz.) bag frozen white onions or 2 jars white onions
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 2 c. light cream
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley

Directions

    Melt butter; stir in flour, salt and chives.

    Add cream.

    Cook until bubbly, about 3 minutes.

    Spoon cooked onions into a dish. Pour sauce over onions.
