  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. light cream
  • 2 c. shrimp, cleaned and cooked
  • 1 c. tiny peas, cooked
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 8 slices white toast, buttered

    In large skillet, melt butter over low heat; gradually add flour, stirring constantly for 30 to 45 minutes.

    Slowly add cream; cook and stir until mixture begins to thicken.

    Add shrimp, peas, salt and paprika.

    Stir well.

    Heat until shrimp are warm. Serve on toast.
