- 1 jar white onions
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Pour onions into medium saucepan.

2Cover and simmer over low heat until warm through.

3Drain.

4Remove from heat.

5Add butter and cover until melted.

6Slowly add milk, stirring constantly.

7Return to low heat.

8Add salt and pepper.

9Heat until warm, stirring gently often.

10Mix cornstarch and water.

11While stirring onions, add cornstarch mixture.

12Stir gently until sauce thickens.

13Serve immediately.
