- 5 lbs Yukon Gold Potatoes, peeled
- 1/2 Gallon Whole Milk
- 1 Pint Cream
- 6 Cloves Garlic
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 7 Sprigs Thyme
- 1/2 tsp whole grain mustard
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- salt and pepper to taste

11. Peel and dice potatoes

22. In a large pot cover potatoes with half cream and half whole milk

33. Add Bay leaves, crushed garlic cloves, and Thyme.

44. Simmer until tender. 45 min.

55. Drain potatoes and reserve liquid. Take out bay leaves and Thyme. Mash with the 1/2 stick of butter and mustard.

66. Add in milk mixture to desired consistency. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
