- 2/3 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 c. milk
- 4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 4 Tbsp. margarine, softened
- 4 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. canned drained peaches, cut in small chunks
Directions

1Blend sugar, cornstarch and salt in large saucepan.

2Combine milk and egg yolks.

3Gradually stir into sugar mixture.

4Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Stir in peaches.

5Boil and stir 1 minute.

6Remove from heat.

7Stir in butter and vanilla.

8Best when served warm.
