- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp. ground sage
- 1 hard-cooked egg, sliced (optional)
Directions

1Cook spinach according to package directions.

2Drain and squeeze dry.

3Combine spinach, cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper; mix well.

4Spoon into a greased 1-quart baking dish.

5Combine bread crumbs and sage; sprinkle over spinach mixture.

6Drizzle remaining 2 tablespoons butter over bread crumbs.

7Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes.

8Garnish with egg slices, if desired.
