Directions

   Mix soda and cornstarch together; add water.

   Cook and stir over low heat until consistency of mashed potatoes.

   Remove from heat and cover with damp cloth until cool enough to handle.

   Use for Play Dough or jewelry shaping or roll it out to make ornamental cookies.

   Clay dries very hard.

   Store in plastic bag to keep from drying out.

   Clay may be colored with food coloring added to the water or painted with tempera when dry.
