- 4 large egg yolks
- 3 T. sugar
- 2 c. heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Beat egg yolks with an electric mixer on high for 5 minutes. Gradually beat in white sugar.

2Warm whipping cream in a saucepan on low heat until very warm.

3Gradually add in beaten egg mixture, stirring constantly, and cook for about 5 minutes until thick.

4DO NOT BOIL!

5Pour into an ungreased pie plate; cover and chill for 2 hours.

6Sprinkle with brown sugar and broil for 5 minutes.

7Serve over fresh fruit slices and angel food cake or pound cake.
