  • 6 hard-cooked eggs
  • 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 6 flake crackers, crumbled
  • few drops Tabasco sauce
  • 1 scant Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Cook vegetables together until done.

    Add salt and pepper. Make cream sauce out of next 5 ingredients.

    Cut eggs in half; put in casserole.

    Add alternately vegetables and cream cheese. Sprinkle a little of the cracker crumbs between layers; sprinkle remaining on top.

    Heat for 15 to 20 minutes in a 325° oven.
