- 5 slices bacon, drained
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
- 3/4 c. catsup
- 1/8 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 c. chopped green peppers
- 1 1/2 lb. hot dogs
Directions

1Cook bacon but not crisp.

2Add chopped onion and cook until tender but not brown.

3Stir in pineapple juice, catsup and chili powder.

4Score franks diagonally at 1-inch intervals.

5Add to the sauce.

6Cover and bring to a boil; add pepper and simmer 8 to 10 minutes.

7Serve on fluffy hot rice.
