- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
- 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato puree
- 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
Directions

1Melt butter in medium saucepan.

2Cook green pepper, onion and garlic until limp.

3Stir in tomato puree and mushrooms; simmer 25 to 30 minutes.

4May be served on meat balls or with cooked rice.
