Ingredients

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 celery stalk stem, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • red pepper
  • salt and garlic powder
  • Creole seasoning
  • 1 large can tomato paste
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 jar Ragu

    Brown ground chuck.

    Add half onion, green pepper and celery. Cook and add a little water every now and then for 1/2 hour. Drain.

    Take tomato paste and fry with only enough oil to cover bottom of pot.

    Stir for about 20 minutes.

    Add water every now and then.

    Add rest of onion, green pepper and celery.

    Fry for 20 minutes.

    Add sauce, Ragu, ground chuck and mushrooms.

    Cover; reduce heat to low.

    Cook for 3 hours.

    Pour over noodles.
