- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/3 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 4 c. white flour
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water, then add remaining ingredients and mix well.

2Let mixture stand, covered, in refrigerator overnight.

3Divide dough in half; roll each half at a time into 20-inch circle.

4Spread 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine over dough.

5Cut into 16 wedges as though cutting pie.

6Roll dough pieces, starting with large end.

7Place in lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

8Repeat for second half of dough.

9Let stand 2 to 4 hours to rise.

10Bake when doubled in size in 425° oven 10 to 12 minutes.

11Makes 32 rolls.
