  • 1 3/4 c. self-rising flour (1 tsp. extra of baking powder and a pinch of salt)
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 1/4 c. milk, warmed to room temperature
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 2 egg whites, beaten stiff with 1 tsp. sugar added

    Combine egg yolks, milk and butter.

    Stir in dry ingredients. Fold in egg whites.
