- 7 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. peanuts (optional)
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Measure the brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt into saucepan.

2Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and baking soda.

4Pour mixture over freshly popped corn and peanuts.

5Mix well and turn out on cookie sheets or cake pans.

6Place in 250° oven for 1 hour.

7Stir occasionally while in oven.

8When corn is removed from oven and cooled enough to handle, the kernels can easily be separated and stored in tightly covered containers.
