- 1 pkg. dried large lima beans
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 bell peppers, chopped
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 large potatoes, cubed in 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 can tomatoes (Creole)
- 1 medium clove garlic, minced
- 1 large can cream of chicken soup
- 2 soup cans water
- 1 bottle Hormel bacon bits
- 2 tsp. Creole seasoning (more or less according to taste)
Directions

1Wash and drain lima beans.

2Place in large crock-pot.

3Add all the other ingredients; mix well.

4Cook for 4 hours on high, then for 4 hours on medium.

5Serve with cornbread.

6Yields 6 to 8 servings.
