  • -1 t salt
  • -1 t chili powder
  • -1/2 t garlic powder
  • -1/4 t onion powder
  • -1/4 t celery seed
  • -1/4 t pepper
  • -Beef brisket (about 2.5 lbs), trimmed
  • -1/2 C ketchup
  • -1/2 C chili sauce
  • -1/4 C packed brown sugar
  • -2 T cider vinegar
  • -2 T Worcestershire sauce
  • -1 t liquid smoke
  • -1/2 t ground mustard

    1. In a small bowl, combine salt through pepper and rub over brisket

    3. In a large bowl, combine the ketchup through ground mustard and pour half over the brisket (save the remaining sauce to serve with cooked brisket)
