- 12 cup butter, melted
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 12 lbs loaf dry white bread, broken into small pieces
- 34 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 34 teaspoon thyme
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 well beaten eggs
Directions

1Mix butter, onion, celery, spices, broth and eggs.

2Add bread which has been broken into small pieces.

3Put in lightly greased crock pot.

4Cook on high 45 minutes, then on low about 6 to 7 hours.

5Stir after the first 45 minutes and again 2 or 3 times during cooking.

6Do not pack the stuffing when stirring, stir lightly.
