- 8 c. water
- 1 lb. dry navy beans (2 1/2 c.)
- 4 oz. bacon, cut in small pieces
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1In saucepan, bring water and beans to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours.

2Remove from heat and pour into bowl; cover and chill.

3Drain beans; reserve 1 cup liquid. Transfer beans and reserved liquid into crock-pot.

4Stir in pork, onion, molasses, brown sugar and mustard.

5Cover; cook on low heat for 12 to 14 hours.

6Makes 6 servings.
