- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 day-old croissants, halved horizontally
- 4 Tbsp. butter, divided
Directions

1Beat eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla in a wide shallow bowl. Add croissants, cut-side down;

2let stand to coat, then turn to coat other side.

3Heat 2 Tbsp. butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat.

4Add croissant halves; cook until brown.

5Turn and cook other side. Remove and keep warm.

6Repeat with remaining butter and croissants.

7Serve warm with syrup.
